Well, we’ve been teasing a new pen name for a while, and it’s finally here. Morgan Quinn’s first book, Warrior Forged, is up for pre-order at the FGR Bookstore, and to say we’re excited is an understatement. I’ve been looking forward to this ever since we made the decision to take down the Warrior of the Way under my Robbie Cox pen name and redo the entire series. And so far, I’m hearing great things from beta readers about how the story is going.
For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, my very first book was Reaping the Harvest, and while I loved that story, I truly wanted to do it justice. I have learned a lot since I released that book back in 2012, and I wanted to give my readers a better experience with Rhychard and the gang. So, we unpublished The Warrior of the Way and it’s spin-off series, Cauldron Coven, in order to rewrite them, creating stronger prose as well as deeper characters. And I’ll be honest. I’ve had a blast with this new version. I’ve created a stronger story without losing anything that readers loved in the original series. I’m sure you’re going to love it, too.
Warrior Forged is also our first venture into the world of subscriptions as we joined Ream this year. If you’re the type who hates to wait, then you can already find chapters of this first book on the Morgan Quinn subscription tiers on Ream. As of this writing, there are at least thirteen chapters live. From there, it will go to the Feel-Good Reads Bookstore online and then to retailers everywhere.
And then the second book, Demon’s Harvest, will release first at Space Coast Book Lovers at the end of June. I truly hope you’ll pop by and check out these urban fantasy stories and our reluctant hero, Rhychard.
