Last week, we took a look back, so this week, I wanted to get a glimpse into the new year. In 2022, we slowed way down compared to previous years, and it was well worth it. And, while we’re planning on ramping things up in 2023, we don’t plan on going overboard with our scheduling. So, what does that mean? That’s the same question I asked, so let’s take a look.
First off, last year, unknowingly, we focused on one pen name, Robbie Cox. This year, we plan on focusing on all three pen names, bringing Morgan Quinn out of the planning stage with The Sword of the Fae. If you loved the Warrior of the Way series, you’re going to love this rewrite. We’ve added a Book One – A Warrior Forged – and created a bunch of new characters while keeping the old ones. It’s going to be a wild ride, and I’m looking forward to bringing these new, reworked stories to you.
As of right now, the Robbie Cox pen name will focus on Black Hollow and Crimson Moon Hideaway, with plans to bring two new series out this year: Witches of Savannah and Midnight Martinis. Both center around witches. The latter is light and playful, while the former will be darker and grittier.
And then there’s R.C. Wynne. Under that pen name, we’ll finish the Garrison Security Innovations series as well as the Billionaire Brat Pack series, while starting a brand-new series, The Fire Brigade. However, one of my R.C. Wynne series will be getting a whole new facelift and rewrite—The Rutherford Series. Like Warrior of the Way, Losing Faith was my second book out of the gate thirteen years ago, and I’ve learned quite a bit since then. So, we want to take what I learned and make The Rutherford Series a stronger set of stories. I think you’ll love what we do with it.
And that’s not all. We’re returning to author events this year, starting with Space Coast Book Lovers, and then moving to RomantiConn, All Shook Up in Graceland, Books at the Beach, and the Sexy and Sassy Signing Event (SaSS). Needless to say, the second half of the year will see us on the road a lot. I hope the cats are ready.
Plus, we’ll be continuing to bring you new and fun merchandise to the store as well as quarterly crates full of fun things and special editions. It’s going to be a full year, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes. I hope you’re ready to join us for the adventure because I promise, it’s going to be an exciting ride.
Until next week, happy reading,
Robbie
